In depth
Verdict
Southport Star and Pab Special have claims on the pick of their form but both are becoming rather frustrating and expensive to follow so preference is for Tropical Climate. The Barry Hills-trained filly ran a race full of promise on her debut in Newmarket's Wood Ditton, a race that has worked out well, and she is taken to further boost the form of that contest. Call Me Waki showed progressive form as a two-year-old but lacks a run this term so may be best watched, while Dance Spirit would need to improve to trouble the judge. Charlie Egerton's Grand Entrance would be of interest if fit enough for his reappearance but there was plenty to like about the way that Tropical Climate ran at Newmarket and she is taken to open her account.
