ROYAL DEESIDE didn’t manage to win on the Flat but placed twice over 1m6f, including on soft going at Salisbury. Stamina won’t be an issue, therefore, and he can get the better of July’s Uttoxeter runner-up Climate Precedent providing his jumping is up to scratch. Excelero is a half-brother to a winner in France while Jamie Moore prefers the newcomer Salver to the once-raced Bridge. Ceejaybe was well beaten when third at Chepstow last month.
