In depth

Verdict

Several of these are looking to improve from recent comeback runs. That list includes Loughalder, who landed a double earlier this year but is 7lb higher than when scoring at Uttoxeter, and Barton Gift, who was raised the same amount for winning at Exeter in April. Bears Rails was sent off favourite at Chepstow on his return but faded in the closing stages and BRANDON HILL suffered the same fate on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter recently. However, he’s 2lb lower than when winning a higher grade handicap over hurdles so could go well in this. The Mumper is having his first start since scoring at Huntingdon in April and may be better for today’s outing.
