      Verdict

      MAC'S POWER and New Planet share the same official rating and are cut above today's opposition. The latter remains unexposed and should be capable of better this season but hasn't raced since last July and James Fanshawe's sprinter is preferred. He failed to score last year but went very close on his seasonal debut last May and repeat effort will be enough to come out best here. If the two principals make a mess of things than Another Try could be the one to benefit as he returned to action with a win at Lingfield recently and makes most appeal of the remainder.
