In depth

Verdict

MCKENZIE'S FRIEND was just worn down by The Unit on his debut at Newbury but that was a cracking first effort. He'll have learned from the experience and should go one better here. Will O'The West kept on well for pressure when third at Southwell and that looks better form than Arctic Gold's third over this course and distance in March. Better Days will almost certainly improve on his run at Stratford and makes most appeal of the others with experience but a market check is advised on a raft of potentially-useful newcomers including Call To Order, Baron De Ligniere, Burlington Bert and Poetry Emotion.
