Verdict

Trigger The Light won this last year and another bold bid is expected despite a 6lb higher mark. Mon Mome hasn't won since his 2009 Grand National success and continues to slide down the weights but Nodebateaboutit looked more like his old self when runner-up at Bangor last time. Blinkers replace cheekpieces on Pensnett Bay after his recent second at Towcester and he may figure but the vote goes to PETTIFOUR. The latter is rated much higher over hurdles and nearly took advantage of his lower mark over track and trip last time when headed close home by Rebeccas Choice.
