Verdict

The market will probably prove the best guide to this but, based on pedigree, it will be a surprise if VAGNER, a half-brother to the useful Up To Something who won a Wetherby bumper on his racecourse debut in 2011, isn't in the firing-line. He gets a tentative vote ahead of the mares Meetmeatthemoon and Millicent Silver, who both represent powerful yards - the latter's stable won this 12 months ago. Wolftrap and Dawson City are related to winners and Superior Fire may be the pick of the remainder.
