Verdict

Deep Pockets has been knocking on the door again and is only a pound higher than when chasing home Thelobstercatcher over C&D last month. Father Probus, Mr Bennett, Broughton Green and Tisfreetdream were all behind that day while Vivarini was struggling when falling three out and there seems no reason why any of them should reverse the form with Caroline Keevil's veteran. Calypso Bay is very consistent but has been creeping up the handicap despite not winning, while the lightly-raced Red Mile has his stamina to prove over this trip so the vote goes to CRAZY EYES. A little below par in the autumn, Charlie Mann's Accordion gelding came back to form when second over 2m6f at Huntingdon after a break and can go one better here.
