Verdict
A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given some sort of chance but the principals look to be Westernmost, The Wife's Sister and Irish Blessing and the vote is given to Westernmost. The selection was a fair third behind Marrel in a similar race last time out. The winner has since franked the form and off the same mark here he looks the value bet in an open affair.The Wife's Sister rates the main danger on her best form but she was slightly disappointing behind Sistema off this mark last time in a seller so can not be put forward with any confidence. Irish Blessing is another worthy of respect as he was badly hampered last time and that run is best forgotten so he should be noted in the market. Native Commander was in front of The Wife's Sister last time but is worse off at the weights here. Of the remainder, Elegant Clutter was a fair third after a long absence last time and is another with place claims if he does not bounce but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Westernmost who at least looks sure to give his running.
