Verdict

STELLAR MAGIC, a winning point-to-pointer, won a 2m3f novices' hurdle at Taunton then beat a very strong field on a return visit and, though having to concede weight all round, can remain unbeaten. Lecale's Article could be anything as he was a very easy winner between the flags in Ireland in 2018. He went for €320,000 at the sales and, though not reappearing until December, made all for an impressive victory at Newbury. That was over an extended 2m but he's likely to do even better over this trip, though will be at short odds. Artemision has shown up well in both starts but will need to find more while winning point-to-pointer Benny's Oscar could have been found an easier start over timber.
