Wecome Approach is given the nod here in a race that could fall to any one of the thirteen runners, Spanish Ace and Chinalea are put forward as token dangers. It may be a big price but Welcome Approach has a lot going for him. He has gone well fresh in the past, loves the ground and is now back down to a decent handicap mark. Spanish Ace was almost the choice as he did win nicely last time out. However the six pound penalty puts us off and a place may be the best he can hope for. Chinalea is not the most consistent of performers but does start the season on a very fair mark and should be capable of going close in this company. Wichry and Trisaidekaphobia are two others who are certainly in with claims on the best of their form and so once again caution is advised, but Welcome Approach can give followers a good run for their money.
