Verdict

A winner over 2m4f on the Flat at Lingfield in July, VAN MEEGEREN hasn’t enjoyed much luck over hurdles so far but he has finished second twice and could go one better today getting 4lb from First Street, a winner over timber at the first attempt at Bangor. The Brimming Water also carries a penalty for winning a Fairyhouse maiden in March for former connections and hasn’t raced since.
