Verdict

Having beaten last week’s Newton Abbot winner Ginger Du Val by 13 lengths at Uttoxeter, ALL CLENCHED UP was surprisingly turned over when odds-on at Sedgefield. The extra half-mile may have been to blame and she is back over her winning trip today. Cobblers Dream won a Cork bumper in April for former connections while Galore Desassences made it third-time lucky in that sphere at Kempton in February but both lack hurdling experience. Immortal Fame has had an even longer break while Catbird Seat and Gms Prince have only shown modest form so far.
