New Quay won an Ascot handicap in November by 10 lengths and wouldn’t have been suited by a drop in distance next time. He was taking on Grade 3 company on his latest start and will find this easier. One For Rosie can’t have given his true running last time at Carlisle but has a penalty to carry again while Falco Blitz was pulled up on his hurdling debut at Bangor.
