      Verdict

      Mawaheb is bred in the purple being by Nashwan out of a French 1,000 Guineas heroine and made a most pleasing start when landing a Kempton maiden in April. Ed Dunlop's charge made little impact behind the runaway winner in a Listed event at Goodwood but may not have enjoyed the soft ground. Maimana is also well related and showed her appreciation for a step up to this trip when scoring at Kempton last week and there is more improvement to come. Overboard is exposed and is nothing out of the ordinary but may do best of the remainder.
