In depth
Verdict
Lovato beat the more-exposed Dandridge when opening his account over fences at Uttoxeter. A follow-up here would be no surprise but fellow novice POTTERMAN (NAP) goes from strength-to-strength and can make a winning start in handicaps over the larger obstacles, despite top weight, as Double Treasure turned in a shocker at Cartmel last month when favourite and looks held on collateral form. Solar Impulse clearly didn’t stay an extended 2m5f in a Listed race at Market Rasen last time and is definitely better over shorter trips than this
