A dour test and MAN OF THE MOMENT can step up to the plate with Quiet Bob and Heezagrey noted in dispatches. Jim Best's charge made use of the handicapper's benevolence to take a recent event at Towcester and he will be quickly turned out under a penalty. Sam Twiston-Davies claim of 7lb being utilised in order to address the difference. The way in which he drew clear suggests he should get this marathon trip although the formbook does cast a small shadow of doubt. Quiet Bob is still a maiden. He has been difficult for the assessor to get a handle on due to some wide margin defeats but if there is money for him, it should not be ignored. Heezagrey is a couple of pounds out of the handicap but Martin Keighley is not in the business of taking shots in the dark and off a feather weight, he probably will get the trip. Chico Time was overestimated by the handicapper so that respite was somewhat overdue. Gift Of The Gods continues in the visor that he wore at Ffos Las. Hever Road made a mockery of his handicap mark when successful at Leicester. The handicapper was not in a forgiving mood for his 25/1 success by putting the veteran up a whopping 19lbs. Intense Suspense could be a likely front runner. Plenty of these runners approach this contest with obvious questions to answer but Man Of The Moment seems to have been found a reasonable opportunity for a follow up.
