Verdict
Gardiners Hill makes a quick reappearance after winning a staying handicap over hurdles at Newton Abbot on Friday but this is a hot contest for the time of year. Dr Robin goes for the five-timer but is now 11lb higher than when last successful over fences. For Good Measure is potentially well treated but now 0-7 over fences. Theclockisticking started favourite for the Listed Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June but only managed seventh, though did finish a place ahead of Blairs Cove. All of the others are returning from a break but QUARENTA looked a decent recruit to the chasing ranks last season and was possibly unlucky not to win at Haydock in April as he lost a shoe on the way around. Twice a winner over these fences earlier, he can put that experience to good use today.
