Olimpo is the safest option in this handicap where the biggest dangers could well turn out to be Ethereal Flame and Ragdolliana. The selection races here off a 7lb higher mark than the mark off which he last scored. While he may have been flattered by the winning margin having been provided a very soft lead by his rivals at Lingfield, his ability to handle soft conditions make him the clear pick. Ethereal Flame is unexposed but bids to put a very disappointing effort at Newbury behind her. She received the run-of-the-race in that particular event and her ability to handle the ground is doubtful while Ragdolliana, who has shown much improved form since reverting to the level from NH racing. If reading her rating literally through the 74-rated rival she beat last time out, a 71 rating could be lenient. Great View is a proven mud-lark who can never be left out of the equation and Olimpo is the pick.
