Night Alliance is hard to catch right and was last of the four finishers in this last year. Father Time has caught up with a few of these but 14-year-old PEARLYSTEPS looked as good as ever last season. He would have gone close on his reappearance last year had he not unseated his rider ion the closing stages and he might be the one to beat. Dolatulo wasn’t beaten far at Kelso 11 days ago and can confirm that running with Grand Vision. Open Hearted could figure if fully wound-up while Benvolio won a Newbury handicap as recently as April and has had a couple of outings between the flags to blow away any cobwebs. Temple Grandin has won his last two point-to-points and is lightly-raced under Rules so shouldn’t be ignored.
