        In depth

        Verdict

        A few of these have claims in a tricky opener. Rated 72, Sedenoo sets the standard as he wasn't beaten that far in a classified event at Newmarket last time and Ziekhani ran well for fourth at Leicester recently behind a Luca Cumani-trained winner. The Newmarket handler runs a couple in this and though Petrify is expected to improve stablemate SAIGON CITY is preferred. The latter will have come on for his debut second at Salisbury but gets only a tentative vote as today's rival Muthmir was only a half-length behind in fourth and could easily turn the tables.
