Just eight runners for this staying handicap but it is very tricky and Sa Nau is just given the verdict ahead of Strobe and McQuuen. The selection has yet to run a bad race this season and put in another solid effort at Pontefract last time out when chasing home the progressive Kentucky Boy. He is obviously suited by this trip, goes on any ground and has the assistance of Phillip Robinson. Strobe looks the main rival having landed a decent enough event at Folkestone last time out, beating today's rival Mister Completely in good style. McQueen is another hard to discount after running well on his return to the flat following a year's absence. The pick of the others could be Zonic Boom, but Sa Nau is ultra consistent and can gain an overdue success.
