Honey's Gift has been getting closer with each recent run and gets the vote here over Tsunami, Harry Collins and Pip Moss. George Margarson's five-year-old was fancied at Chepstow six days ago when ridden by Tony McCoy for the first time. The combination were found wanting over a trip of just over two miles, and so it is hoped that the step up in distance will bring about the required result. Honey's Gift was a maiden on the Flat and is not guaranteed to stay on breeding, but the manner of her effort last time suggests that she will. Tsunami has been chasing but seemed to appreciate the return to the smaller obstacles when second at Uttoxeter three weeks ago. He has failed to progress since scoring over hurdles at Aintree two years ago, but if his latest effort was no flash in the pan, then he can take a hand in the finish as well. Harry Collins found three miles in heavy going round Towcester far too gruelling and will appreciate the slightly easier conditions, while Pip Moss may show up well for a while despite an absence. Gaye Dream seems to be getting the hang of things as well, so is worth a mention, but for the winner we return to Honey's Gift and Tony McCoy.
