Verdict
'The Boys in Blue' are double-handed and COLONIAL can be one for Frankie Dettori. He's been brought steadily to the boil and ran a top-notch race last time when close-up fourth under topweight in a competitive Doncaster handicap. He's clearly spot-on now and must have strong claims. However, it's far from unusual to see Godolphin do well with second strings and Al Aasifh, also second at Doncaster last time behind Prime Defender on his first outing since last October, should go well too. The prime threat though is Forjatt. The Varian charge has not had things go his way this term but showed his turn was near with a very solid effort in a useful Newmarket handicap last time. Inler has a chance at his best but is hard to catch right.
