In depth

Verdict

Lucy Limelites and Sixty Roses figure prominently on the short-list but marginal preference is for CLASSIC VOICE ahead of Philharmonic Hall as both runners look interesting as they step back up in trip. John Dunlop's string are in top form at present and Sixty Roses has shown enough to think that she can win a race of this nature whilst Lucy Limelites is clearly a promising individual having landed a Newmarket maiden at the first time of asking. Philharmonic Hall and Classic Voice are not ideally drawn in a race as competitive as this but Richard Fahey's runner left a poor run at Glorious Goodwood behind to take the eye at Ripon when looking in need of a return to this trip. Classic Voice also caught the eye staying on well over six furlongs when behind Restless Bay at Wolverhampton from a bad draw and looks capable of scoring from his initial mark.
