Verdict
ROYAL PRETENDER won a jumpers’ bumper at Kempton in February. He has placed in three of his five hurdle starts to date and is just preferred to Off The Planet and Gulliver Collonges, who is rated 2lb higher but looked one-paced last season. San Fermin, also a bumper winner, was third on his hurdling debut at Stratford in June and should be capable of better. Here Comes Henry is also interesting having finished second in a point earlier in the year.
