In depth

Verdict

Roxboro Road has a cracking chance if able to translate his chase form back to hurdles as he races off the same mark as when winning easily over the larger obstacles here nine days ago. But we’ll take on the likely favourite with the far less exposed DOCPICKEDME, who was value for more than the winning margin in a Southwell maiden last month as he ran green. Diodorus is back in the right grade but Kauto D'Amour has gone up 5lb for winning at Newcastle, where he tends to produce his best form. Diamond Fort is starting to look well treated but is on a long losing run.
