Although Mexican Pete was an eye-catching winner on his hurdles debut at Huntingdon last month, he may have to concede second best to the well regarded Howle Hill, who makes his first appearance over timber in public today. Other previous winners, Mezereon and Prince Adjal add further spice to the competition and this has all the hallmarks of a race that will produce some solid guidelines for the weeks to come.
