Verdict
Ami Desbois is still climbing the weights but is a consistent sort who should give a good account again. Westendorf has been struggling under penalties in novice events so may do better now handicapping. Milborough too advantage of a lenient mark over hurdles when scoring at Carlisle but has been raised 8lb since. The ex-Irish tries 3m for the first time but should have improved for his first run for Dan Skelton. We’ll take a chance on POINT THE WAY as he’s been lightly raced this campaign and should find this easier than the Grade 3 he contested at Haydock in November. Only Orsenfoolsies is on a long losing run and may have stamina limitations over this trip.
