Verdict
BLUE YONDER (NAP) won with any amount in hand at Beverley before following up in stylish fashion at Wolverhampton. He's understandably been hoisted a total of 12lb for the two victories but still appeals as the one to beat despite having to prove equally effective on forecast good to firm ground. William Haggas does extremely well on his northern forays and recent Catterick runner-up, Opera Legend, has to be of interest on handicap debut on this significant step-up in trip and in receipt of 2lb from the selection. Captain Potter has been a beaten favourite the last twice and therefore Leading Company, visored for the first time, is suggested as one for the shortlist as he gives the impression of having more to come. Zivaniya requires a market check on handicap and seasonal bow.
