In depth
Verdict
Another competitive affair here but the TEAMtalk selection is Silken Thyne. The gelding from the Chris Bealby yard won in game fashion last time out when defeating Coolnagorna at Uttoxeter. Form which has been franked since and he is confidently expected to defy his penalty. Beneya rates the main danger on his form in France but he may come on for this his debut in England after a 524 day absence. Troysgreen showed a modicum of ability in bumpers and should improve for hurdles. But this gelding from the Jonjo O'Neill yard is bred to be better over even further. Lambhill Stakes showed a modicum of ability behind Tickton Flyer on his debut over hurdles but he pulled hard on that occasion and needs to settle better if he is to trouble the principals. Young Claude is a half brother to Young Kenny but he will improve in time. Blue Lizard is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
