Verdict

POP ROCKSTAR’s powers of recovery will be tested as it’s only three days since he had a hard race at Haydock. However, he is a winner without a penalty and Jonjo O’Neill Junior again takes off 7lb so he’s the one to beat if reproducing that most recent form. Sandhurst Lad has benefited from a break and scrambled home at Plumpton but this is a much more competitive affair. Durbanville got off the mark at Carlisle in October while Skipthescales was successful over track and trip last month but was earlier more than eight lengths behind On A Promise in a conditionals’ race here, though is now 9lb better off. Classico Dais keeps finding one too good but has place claims again.
