In depth

Verdict

Ballyoliver was beaten less than a length at Taunton 10 days ago and retains plenty of ability. But he may be too close in the weights to KING OF THE WOLDS, who had Venetia Williams' veteran well behind when third at Carlisle in November and is only a couple of pounds worse off. Jack Steel tries a new trip and has been a bit disappointing lately while there are also question marks surrounding Goodtoknow. But Epic Warrior should find a race over fences before the season is out and Glen Countess could figure if in the mood.
