In depth
Verdict
Soft ground may have been a legitimate excuse for LORD FOX running below par at Ffos Las. He'd landed a double on a quicker surface before that and can return to winning ways here. But he'll need to reverse latest running with Big News, who showed signs of a revival at Ffos Las after a string of poor efforts, while Pistol Basc isn't out of this either on his earlier victory at Catterick with River Purple back in fourth. One In A Row has shown some ability over fences though he'll need to step up on his recent placed efforts to figure in the finish.
