    Verdict

    Rock Gone is lightly raced for his age and ran well for a long way on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter. ACTINPIECES was quickly pulled up after losing her place in the Rowland Meyrick here on Boxing Day but should find this far less competitive. Pam Sly’s mare had won over 3m here in November and is equally effective over this shorter distance. Never Equalled ran a cracker at Bangor in November and can be forgiven a subsequent run at Cheltenham so makes more appeal than Chic Name.
