In depth

Verdict

YOUNG MAGS stayed on well to take the runners-up spot in a similar event at Newbury on her debut. Nigel Twiston-Davies' filly looks capable of going one better here with normal improvement. Reveal The Light also shaped well on her debut at Towcester when third to today's rival Doynosaur and the latter may struggle to confirm the form under her winners' penalty. Newdane Dancer is worth noting on her debut but Malcolm Jefferson's filly Tobetall could prove the best of the newcomers as she's a half-sister to a couple of winners over hurdles.
