Verdict
Plenty with claims in this with Amie Waugh going close on Dark And Dangerous at Sedgefield last time. Quest For Life has been showing promise and makes his handicap debut but the handicapper has taken no chances. Big Thunder was a decent stayer on the Flat but has struggled for consistency over timber with his latest second coming in a jumpers’ bumper on Tapeta. MONFASS (NAP) has run a couple of solid races in defeat since winning at Carlisle in December. Rose Dobbin’s gelding looks the one to beat as Bonne Question was tailed off last time at Catterick. Final Choice ran well at Newbury on his reappearance but didn’t replicate that effort at Uttoxeter and has an inexperienced claimer on board today.
