In depth
Verdict
Dix Bay, Allegedly Red and Dante's Battle look the three to concentrate on in this claimer and the tentative vote goes to Dix Bay. #The selection was a fair fourth behind Quedex in a handicap hurdle last time out and he need only reproduce that effort to score under conditions that suit. Allegedly Red rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Valuable last time out but that form has since been let down and he is far from consistent and he is passed over on that basis. Dante's Battle is another worthy of respect on his fourth behind Tino but he was pulled up on his last run last season and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Ashgar has the ability to go close but does not often use it and for the winner we return to Dix Bay.
