Verdict

Sigurd is the least exposed of these so deserves respect on that score alone but Fiosrach is best watched on his first start for new connections after a break. Taweyla was easily brushed aside by Lady Buttons at Doncaster but she should be approaching peak fitness now and is back on a winning mark. CAIUS MARCIUS (NAP) failed to quicken at Market Rasen last month but will be more at home on today’s quicker surface so gets the nod. Our Thomas and Hartside are the only course winners in the line-up and the former looks the pick of that pair today with the latter running poorly when favourite at Doncaster having had a busy time of it lately. William Of Orange is not out of this either on his best form.
