Solidago gained his first victory on his 17th start over hurdles on heavy going at Warwick on New Year's Eve but was never in contention in a similar contest at Towcester last month. Return Flight has shown very little but was obviously expected to do much better at Carlisle last month as he started favourite. He ran well in a bumper on quicker going here a year ago and should get involved. BOLD HENMIE has been racing in slightly better company and though not showing much a drop into this grade and a 5lb lower mark may be enough to gain his first victory in a poor handicap. Downtown Boy will be running in this lowly class for the first time over hurdles and can find a place on the podium.
