Verdict
A potentially-informative bumper can go to the £170,000 purchase CHASING FIRE, who is a half-brother to four winners and has already won between the flags. Hitching Jacking is another interesting recruit from the point-to-point circuit and the selection’s stablemate Ramming Speed cost £50,000 and is out of a mare that won over jumps and on the Flat. Imperial Merlin is a half-brother to two winners and Carlo Du Berlais is surely better than he showed at Ludlow. Largy Train made a winning debut at Ayr last May but hasn’t raced and has switched stables since.
