In depth
Verdict
Some thoroughly exposed and modest chasers in action with the obvious exception of Plenty Courage. Frank Storey's charge is a useful hurdler and is entitled to improve for his sole outing over fences when well held in testing conditions Hexham last month after making a bad blunder at the third last. The eight-year-old is worth another chance against poor opposition. Guilsborough Gorse has claims on his narrow defeat here in October but is prone to mistakes and returns after a four-month absence while Grangewick Flight is not progressing with experience and Pure Steel does not look the safest of conveyances.
