Verdict

French Paradoxe ended last season with a victory at Doncaster and is 5lb higher on his return but TANGO BOY has the more recent winning form. The latter scored over track and trip last month and can cope with a 4lb rise. Readysteadybeau looks a threat stepping back up in distance after a third at Ayr while Breizh Alko is reunited with Brian Hughes having landed a double under the champion jockey early in the year and is preferred to Southern Sam. Maiden hurdle winner Contemplatemyfaith makes his chasing debut on his reappearance.
