In depth
Verdict
An interesting finale can go to Patrick Haslam's Triumph Hurdle possible King Revo, who is preferred over Bourgeois, Valeureaux and Born Leader. The selection got off the mark over hurdles in good style at Catterick earlier in the season and followed up with a game effort over course and distance last month. He was slightly fortunate that Kentucky Blue took a fall when in with every chance at the last on that occasion, but King Revo had still done enough to see off the rest and score by a comfortable twelve lengths. The gelding does pick up penalties for what he has archived so far, but Haslam's inmate has enough scope to expect him to cope at this level today. Bourgeois won a weak race at Newcastle last time and will do well to give weight away to all here. However, Tim Easterby's charge makes the most appeal if King Revo fails to deliver for any reason.
