In depth

Verdict

Trafords Hero hasn't run since March but would have a chance in this off his current mark if fully wound-up Waterclock, a fair stayer on the Flat, was just run out of it at Sedgefield at the start of the month and Narcissist has been placed over track and trip and has been thereabouts over 2m lately. Attention Seaker and Friendly Royal are others to consider but SUPERIOR FIRE's third at Ludlow is just about the best recent piece of form on offer and Charlie Longsdon's gelding has plenty of scope for improvement.
