The three-year-old Naizagai was second to an improver at Ascot and wears a tongue-tie today in an attempt to get him to settle. Lucky Icon can’t get much lower in the weights but looks a shadow of his former self with stablemate Suggestion also struggling for form. APPLAUS has gone up 4lb for finishing second at Carlisle but is still getting 5lb from Kelso maiden winner Trooper Turnbull taking into account Billy Garritty’s claim and that may be enough to swing things his way. Orkan looked to be coming to hand at Newcastle and he is preferred to Just The Man and Pencreek of the others.
