In depth

Verdict

AMETHYST ROSE won at Sedgefield yesterday and can defy a penalty if taking part. If absent, then Markem is fancied to take advantage having posted a better effort over fences at Ayr last time and only 1lb higher than when scoring over hurdles at Sedgefield early in the year. Be A Dreamer was still going well when falling at Newcastle on his chasing bow and could figure with a clear round while The Backup Plan also fell at Musselburgh on his first start over fences having looked less than fluent before that.
