        Verdict

        Engles Rock hasn’t been disgraced in a couple of runs at Newcastle this year and Perfect Swiss never seems to run a bad race but NINE ELMS arrives in peak form and, with plenty of rain in the forecast, the dual Nottingham winner may get his ground again. End Zone also handles the soft and is slipping towards an attractive mark while Clear Angel was sixth in the Spring Mile at Doncaster at the start of the month. Mr Trevor won three times on Tapeta last year but is only 1-22 on Turf.
