Verdict

PAY THE KING has already had five runs over hurdles but he's shown ability in much better races than this and can shrug off an absence to finally open his account. Be My Present is the one most likely to cash in should Micky Hammond's charge need this. She made a winning comeback at Hexham having also won at the Northumberland track in March but does have a penalty to carry. Aiaam Al Namoos can improve on his fourth at Kelso in May but Quick Brew has had plenty of chances and isn't getting any nearer.
