In depth
Verdict
Us And Them is 1-21 over fences but has run some fine races including when just failing to concede Powersbomb 20lb at Punchestown in May when subsequent winner The West's Awake was seven lengths back in third and Optical Confusion fell two out when there with a chance. The former's stable companion TOP MOON has never won over fences but his neck defeat by stablemate A Wave Of The Sea in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown puts him in here with a fine chance of going one better. Somptueux was in touch when falling three out in that latter event having won two of his previous four over fences while Woodbrook Boy won over the course and distance in August and has been racing over hurdles.
